Japan Day 4: Kinshico

Hari ini hujan agak lebat..Rainy day in Japan is really cold, cute and comforting..There are no thunder and storm at all! I wish I can stay at home enjoying the sound and smell of raindrops but idling all day won't make any sense rite? So we diceded to go out for shopping! We went to Kinshicho.

But first, we ate this for breakfast! I don't have the slightest idea what are these called, but they are yummy..

Kat Disney Store beli sket je sbb kunun nak shopping secara giler kat disneyland..ececeh tp abg nizam kata disney store lagi murah! Guess what I bought that day!!! I am hugging her now!! It's marieeeee plush..she is so adorable, white and fluffy..I'm going to show you my atarashi marie one of these days...kejap ek.

So many notepads..cant decide which one to choose, with so many playful patterns and colors!

It's a very small shop but I spend so much time (and yen) here...Imagine Sanrio, Disney, SanX, CareBears, My Little Pony, Sesame Street, etc in one shop..! wow!

Hubby pantang nampak Uniqlo, mesti borong t-shirt! Kat K!t sini jugak kitrang borong kat DAISO..kedai 100yen! Bnyk sangat bli barang deco, omiyage, kitchen ware and gardening stool!

Pastu kitorang cari post office, I wanted to send some postcards to my friends and family back in Malaysia. It cost me an 80 yen stamp per postcard. I'm a stamp collector so I take my chance to buy stamps there. Even it is costly but Japan's stamps are so beautiful! I got myself a set of shonen manga stamp collection and a set of Tokyo view at night collection. The clerk said there will be Hello kitty stamp collection in August..Kya! That is not a good news to me, I am not staying that long!! sobs

Walking around the malls make me hungry so I need my lunch. I suggested Lotteria, but nobody cares...I want STRAIGHT BURGERS!!!

The boys wanted rice so we settled ourselves in this neat restaurant called Tempura Tendon Tenya.

Itadakimasu! Steam rice toppes with prawn tempura and veggie tempura. I love dipping my tempra in soy sauce! There's also a small bowl of hot steaming miso soup..comforting food for a rainy day!

To tell you the truth, I can't handle chopsticks. They are tad too tidious for me, but in Japan, you eat nearly everything with chopsticks. Abang Nizam dares me to use chopsticks so I took the challenge! It's pretty embarassing to spill off the rice out of the bowl but that is the process of learning so I move on with it! When I'm skilfull with it, I am very happy..yeay dira blajar guna chopstick kat Japan! Ichiban!

Japan Day 3: Mitaka

Let's walk, let's walk, I feel fine.

Let's walk...Let's walk..Let's walk to...GHIBLI MUSEUM in Mitaka! Sambil bayangkan saya berjalan2 bersama Totoro! Yippee! Hari ke tiga kami ke Mitaka untuk visit Ghibli museum...Everyone should know about Hayao Miyazaki's magnificent works? I love Ghibli Studio's anime and I adore all of their lovable and charming characters especially Kiki and Jiji the black neko from Kiki's delivery service! dan bila ke JApan pastilah saya ambil kesempatan untuk melawat museum ini! This entry is full choke of pictures! Enjoy, minna-san!

Tonari no Totoro (My Neigbour Totoro) menyambut kedatang kami di ticket booth ini..oops, tapi kami dah bli ticket di LAwson awal2...Totoro hanya ucapkan kami.."Iraishimaseen!"

Suke nye klu Totoro jadi neighbour saya..Boleh saya baring atas perut die yg gebu..!


Hubby depan museum..

Waah, museum ini dilitupi tumbuhan hijau yg segar...We entered the museum at 10am. All explanations were in Japanese, luckily I understand them a bit, I don't know how this is happened! ..hehe buat2 paham ok lah. We are not allowed to take pictures in this museum...Oleh itu kami dapat menikmati museum dgn lebih tenteram..Kalau dira bersama camera mmg bahaya! Sikit2 akan sebut.."Chhoooo kawaiiii!" pastu snap satu mende tu sampai 2-3 kali..So tanpa camera, dira lebih relax mengunjungi Ghibli friends! Museum 3 tingkat ini mempamerkan semua characters Ghibli Studio dan replika studio Hayao Miyazaki...Kami juga dapat menonton short film di Saturn theater room. Tayangan pada hari itu ialah Kujiratori (The Whale Hunt). Museum ini sgt magical!

Robot dari Laputa Castle in the Sky ini merupakan guardian museum ini..Robot setinggi 5m terletak atas rooftop. .

Hot dog and Ice-cream stall..I got a banana ice-cream and my hubby got a raspberry sorbet. I love my creamy milky banana ice-cream so much, 380yen for a cone.

Sayangnye nak tinggalkan Totoro..

Tapi kite kena say bye2 to Ghibli Museum!! Bye2!! Visit Ghibli Museum ni adalah experience yg tak mungkin saya lupakan...kat museum ni saya ketawa dan menangis..Ye saya menangis, sebabnya? Himitsu..!! hanya Hubby dan ikin milkberry shj yg tahu..punyalah saya call ikin sbb sedey dan mengadu kat die! Using ghibli museum's public phone! phew! Smp bila2 akan jadi memori, hepi dan sedey di ghibli museum!

Saya makan Seafood gratin dan Foccacia Pan...Semua nya sedap2..Saizeriya..bukalah branch di Malaysia! Makanan di Saizeriya affordable..sesuai untuk bawa satu family! Kami sampai ke rumah sgt penat pd mlm itu tapi gembira..Malam nye saya mimpi tidur di atas perut Totoro yang bulat dan gebu..Ooooh! Indahnya..!!esoknya bila sedar, rupanya saya baring atas perut hubby..hee hee....
