What led you pick up this book: This pic book is going to be a movieee...! I watched the trailer and it was cool and quirky!

Plot Summary: Max dons his wolf suit in pursuit of some mischief and gets sent to bed without supper. Fortuitously, a forest grows in his room, allowing his wild rampage to continue unimpaired. Sendak's color illustrations (perhaps his finest) are beautiful, and each turn of the page brings the discovery of a new wonder.

The wild things--with their mismatched parts and giant eyes--manage somehow to be scary-looking without ever really being scary; at times they're downright hilarious. Sendak's defiantly run-on sentences--one of his trademarks--lend the perfect touch of stream of consciousness to the tale, which floats between the land of dreams and a child's imagination.

What you like the most about this book: The colors used in this pic book are very dull and muddy! It gave you the 'wild things' feeling when you plop yourself into the story of forest, monsters , and a vast journey! I like Max, the main character. Max is a very mischievous boy who runs around in a wolf suit,how cute is that! He is so brave to meet the monsters in the forest and he made himself the king of all beast! With so many fun and adventures, he misses his mum and his home..Moral of the story, be good to your mommy or else you will be taken away by the monsters..good reads for a very naughty fella~

Will you recommend this book to other: A very pleasant and quick read (will take less than 3 minutes!!)! A lovely books about adventure..! Inside all of us is adventure!!!
