What led you pick up this book: When I was doing my daily replenishment for Mystery and Thriller section, i noticed that this title sold out pretty fast! We brought in 30 copies and 26 copies sold out within a week. I read the synopsis, get hooked with it, bought it on the same day and I didn't regret! This book is terrifyingly evil! Read on...
Synopsis: A naked woman in red high-heeled shoes is perched on the edge of Clifton Suspension Bridge with her back pressed to the safety fence, weeping into a mobile phone. Clinical psychologist Joseph O'Loughlin is only feet away, desperately trying to talk her down. She whispers, 'you don't understand,' and jumps. Later, Joe has a visitor - the woman's teenage daughter, a runaway from boarding school. She refuses to believe that her mother would have jumped off the bridge - not only would she not commit suicide, she is terrified of heights. What do you like about this book: After reading the synopsis, I am curious to know who was the beastly murderer who made the naked woman plunge off the bridge. One case follows another. The murderer is a psychopath. He crept into his victims' gullible mind, he manipulated them, whispering hazardous words on the phone and threaten them to death. The hero is Psychologist, Joe O'loughlin. The murderer did not use any weapon to kill his victims and Joe O'loughlin is the only one person who can deal with a psycho! All the murdering scenes are very disturbing...Once the psycho call his victims, the victims' life will shatter into a million pieces! I love this book!
